  1. Coordinate and monitor the flow of merchandise to our stores, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  2. Maintain inventory levels by tracking stock and identifying any potential issues or discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with buying teams to understand product trends and assist in the selection and ordering of merchandise.
  4. Monitor sales data and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing certain products.
  5. Communicate regularly with vendors and distribution centers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  6. Manage pricing and markdowns, ensuring that merchandise is appropriately marked and promoted in accordance with company guidelines.
  7. Conduct regular store visits to assess stock levels, product placement, and overall visual merchandising.
  8. Train and support store associates on merchandise placement, promotions, and other merchandising initiatives.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of merchandise flow and inventory levels.
  10. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or challenges that may impact merchandise availability or quality.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including store operations, marketing, and visual merchandising, to ensure a cohesive and successful merchandising strategy.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
  14. Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the merchandising function.
  15. Represent TJX Companies in a professional and positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.
