We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a Retail Maintenance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stores are well-maintained and provide a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.   1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and restocking merchandise to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  2. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of the store to identify potential maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner.
  4. Assist with setting up and taking down displays and fixtures according to company guidelines.
  5. Participate in store opening and closing procedures to ensure the store is ready for customers at all times.
  6. Maintain inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies and communicate any needs to management.
  7. Uphold company standards for customer service by providing helpful and friendly assistance to customers as needed.
  8. Follow all safety and security protocols to protect company assets and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and projects efficiently and effectively.
  10. Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures and ensure they are followed at all times.
  11. Take ownership and pride in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
  12. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve the store environment and customer experience.
  13. Adhere to company dress code and appearance guidelines.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Retail Maintenance Associate At Tjx Companies Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Maintenance Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Store Operations: Candidates Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Inner Workings Of A Retail Store, Including Familiarity With Fixtures, Lighting, And Hvac Systems.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Regular Communication With Store Managers And Other Team Members, So The Ability To Effectively Communicate Both Verbally And In Writing Is Crucial.

  • Technical Proficiency: Retail Maintenance Associates Should Have A Solid Foundation In Basic Maintenance Tasks, Such As Plumbing, Electrical, And Carpentry Work. Knowledge Of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Cmms) Is Also A Plus.
