  1. Greet and welcome customers, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store.
  2. Assist in the training and onboarding of new department team members.
  3. Maintain knowledge of all products, promotions, and company policies to effectively assist customers.
  4. Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the retail departments, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, working closely with the merchandising team to ensure products are well-stocked and displayed.
  6. Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  9. Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
  10. Oversee scheduling for department team members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak business hours.
  11. Monitor and maintain department budgets, controlling expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving measures.
  12. Conduct regular performance evaluations for department team members and provide feedback for improvement.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  14. Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges within the department, seeking solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  15. Continuously strive to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers, leading by example and setting high standards for customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: A Successful Candidate For The Retail Department Coordinator Role At Tjx Companies Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Retail Management. This Includes Experience In Managing A Team, Overseeing Store Operations, And Driving Sales.
