We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Product Development Administrative Assistant at TJX Companies.   1. Provide administrative support to the Product Development team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents and presentations.
  2. Assist with the coordination of product development initiatives, including tracking timelines, gathering feedback, and ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product development projects, including product specifications, cost information, and vendor information.
  4. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, sourcing, and merchandising, to ensure seamless execution of product development plans.
  5. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to gather and organize product samples, swatches, and other materials for review and approval.
  6. Assist with the creation and maintenance of product development budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to inform product development decisions.
  8. Coordinate and participate in product development meetings, taking detailed notes and following up on action items as needed.
  9. Support the Product Development team in creating and maintaining product development calendars and timelines.
  10. Proactively identify and address any issues or roadblocks that may impact the timely execution of product development initiatives.
  11. Ensure all necessary documents and information are organized and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.
  12. Act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to product development.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency within the Product Development team.
  15. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
