As a Merchandise Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management process.   1. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all merchandise within the store.
  2. Perform regular audits and checks to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels.
  3. Collaborate with the merchandising team to track and reconcile discrepancies in inventory.
  4. Monitor and report any inventory shortages or overages to management.
  5. Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom to ensure efficient inventory management.
  7. Assist in the processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise shipments.
  8. Handle all documentation and paperwork related to inventory management.
  9. Communicate effectively with all levels of management regarding inventory status and issues.
  10. Actively participate in training and development programs to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  11. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols while handling merchandise.
  12. Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems and processes.
  13. Identify and report any potential loss prevention issues to management.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving any inventory-related issues.
  15. Continuously strive to improve and streamline inventory management processes.
