As a Merchandise Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our merchandise inventory.   1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all merchandise within the store.
  2. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  3. Communicate effectively with store management and merchandising teams to ensure proper merchandise flow and placement.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for merchandise adjustments.
  5. Collaborate with the buying and planning teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise.
  6. Implement and maintain proper merchandising standards and guidelines in accordance with company policies.
  7. Train and supervise other team members on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  8. Identify and report any inventory or operational issues to management.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient merchandise handling.
  10. Continuously seek out ways to improve inventory processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' practices to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  12. Handle and resolve any customer inquiries or concerns related to merchandise availability or accuracy.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams to support company-wide initiatives and goals.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect company assets.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
