  1. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of in-demand products.
  2. Collaborate with buyers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  3. Conduct regular store visits to assess inventory levels and identify any potential issues.
  4. Utilize inventory management systems to track and document product movement.
  5. Coordinate with store managers to ensure proper placement and display of merchandise.
  6. Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies or missing items.
  7. Communicate with distribution centers and other departments to resolve any inventory issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends to make informed decisions on merchandise selection and ordering.
  9. Work closely with the merchandising team to plan and execute promotions and sales.
  10. Assist in the training and development of new merchandise control associates.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory control and efficiency.
  13. Collaborate with store management to address any customer concerns or complaints related to merchandise availability.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote a safe and efficient workplace.
  15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales and inventory targets.
