  1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to mitigate risk and protect the company's assets.
  2. Create and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and company property.
  3. Train and educate store personnel on loss prevention policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and analyze store operations and identify potential areas of risk and loss.
  5. Conduct investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and other criminal activities.
  6. Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams as needed for investigations and prosecutions.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
  9. Manage a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  10. Communicate effectively with store management and corporate teams to address any issues or concerns related to loss prevention.
  11. Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies that could lead to loss or shrinkage.
  12. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on loss prevention strategies, incidents, and trends.
  13. Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and procedures and ensure they are consistently followed.
  14. Continuously assess and update loss prevention protocols to adapt to changing company needs and industry trends.
  15. Foster a culture of safety and security among all employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Regarding Theft, Fraud, And Other Criminal Activity

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Managing A Team And Collaborating With Other Departments

  • Experience With Surveillance And Security Systems, As Well As Investigative Techniques And Procedures.
