1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize losses and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
2. Lead and manage a team of loss prevention associates to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and other losses and take appropriate action.
4. Collaborate with store management to identify potential risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
5. Monitor and analyze store performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans.
6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and proactively implement changes as needed.
7. Train and educate store associates on loss prevention techniques and procedures to ensure compliance and awareness.
8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all loss prevention activities, including incidents, investigations, and training.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other external partners to aid in the prevention and investigation of losses.
10. Participate in store audits and provide recommendations for improving loss prevention measures.
11. Communicate regularly with upper management to report on loss prevention efforts and provide updates on any emerging risks or trends.
12. Stay informed on company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
