1. Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the retail store to identify any potential security threats or risks.
2. Monitor and review security footage to identify and investigate any suspicious activities or incidents.
3. Collaborate with store management and employees to implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures.
4. Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
5. Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and compile detailed reports on all security incidents.
6. Work closely with law enforcement agencies in the event of criminal activity or arrests.
7. Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
8. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and identify any areas for improvement.
9. Assist with the training and development of store employees on loss prevention techniques and strategies.
10. Monitor and maintain the physical security of the store, including the alarm system, locks, and other security equipment.
11. Identify and implement measures to prevent and minimize loss and shrinkage.
12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology.
13. Provide excellent customer service by responding to and resolving any security-related concerns or issues.
14. Collaborate with other loss prevention team members to share best practices and improve overall security efforts.
15. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times while representing the company.
