- Monitor and patrol store premises to identify potential security threats and prevent loss or damage to merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing any concerns or issues they may have, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a strong understanding of store policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and customer service.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any suspicious or fraudulent activities, working closely with store management and corporate loss prevention teams as needed.
- Use surveillance and other security equipment to monitor store activity and identify potential risks or areas of concern.
- Proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities, such as outdated or malfunctioning equipment, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Train and educate store team members on loss prevention best practices and procedures to increase awareness and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement strategies for reducing shrinkage and improving overall store security.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents, investigations, and other relevant information.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in loss prevention and customer service, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, both within the store and in interactions with customers and external partners.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Tactics And Procedures Is Essential For This Job. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Knowledge Of Video Surveillance, Inventory Control, And Theft Prevention Techniques.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are A Must For This Role As It Involves Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis.
