Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our stores, while also providing exceptional customer service to our valued shoppers.   1. Ensure the safety and security of our stores by monitoring and identifying potential risks or threats.
  2. Utilize surveillance equipment and conduct regular store walks to identify any suspicious activity.
  3. Respond to and resolve any customer service issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Work closely with store management and staff to implement loss prevention strategies and procedures.
  5. Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor to deter theft and provide a sense of security for customers.
  6. Conduct thorough and accurate investigations of any incidents, including reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.
  7. Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams as needed to handle any criminal incidents.
  8. Monitor and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  9. Train and educate store staff on loss prevention awareness and best practices.
  10. Continuously assess and improve loss prevention strategies to minimize losses and improve overall safety and security in the store.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers, responding to inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  13. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
  14. Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed of company policies, procedures, and updates.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Such As Cctv Monitoring, Merchandise Protection, And Fraud Detection.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers And Team Members, So A Successful Candidate Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.

  • Attention To Detail: A Strong Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role, As The Associate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Reporting Any Suspicious Or Fraudulent Activity Within The Store.

  • Ability To Work In A Team: The Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate Will Often Work Closely With Other Team Members, So The Ability To Collaborate And Work Well In A Team Environment Is Essential.

  • Customer Service Experience: Prior Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Preferred For This Position, As The Associate Will Be Responsible For Providing Exceptional Service To Customers While Also Maintaining A Safe And Secure Shopping Environment.
