- Conduct regular inspections of merchandise and store areas to identify and address potential security risks.
- Utilize surveillance systems and other loss prevention tools to identify and deter theft.
- Respond to and investigate any suspicious behavior or incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with store management and other team members to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns related to store security.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention procedures and best practices.
- Complete reports and documentation related to any security incidents or investigations.
- Participate in store meetings and trainings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other external partners as needed.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments related to loss prevention and customer service.
