We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate. As a member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our stores while providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.   1. Monitor store entrances and exits to deter and detect potential theft and fraud.
  2. Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  3. Assist with customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Conduct regular store patrols and surveillance to identify and prevent theft and fraud.
  5. Collaborate with store management and Loss Prevention team to develop and implement strategies to prevent loss.
  6. Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to identify and investigate any suspicious activity.
  7. Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed reports on any security incidents or suspicious activities.
  8. Train and educate store associates on theft and fraud prevention techniques.
  9. Follow established company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the store and its assets.
  10. Act as a liaison between store management and law enforcement agencies in the event of any security incidents.
  11. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times while interacting with customers and colleagues.
  12. Continuously monitor and stay up-to-date on current loss prevention trends and techniques.
  13. Respond to emergency situations and provide support as needed.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by store management or Loss Prevention team.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Procedures And Practices: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Including Identifying And Preventing Theft, Fraud, And Inventory Shrinkage.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Customer Service Skills, Such As Effective Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: This Position Will Require You To Closely Monitor Store Activities And Identify Potential Security Risks. Having A Keen Eye For Detail Will Be Crucial In Detecting Suspicious Behavior And Preventing Losses.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: A Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate Must Be Able To Work Independently As Well As Collaboratively With Other Team Members. This Includes Sharing Information And Coordinating Efforts To Prevent And Address Any Security Issues.

  • Prior Experience In Loss Prevention Or Retail Security: While Not Always Required, Having Previous Experience In Loss Prevention Or Retail Security Can Be A Valuable Asset For This Role. It Demonstrates A Familiarity With The Specific Challenges And Responsibilities Of The Job And Can Help A Candidate Stand Out In The Hiring Process.
