- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all shoppers at TJX Companies.
- Conduct regular surveillance and monitor store activity to identify potential security threats or suspicious behavior.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing assistance and addressing any security concerns or issues.
- Actively participate in loss prevention training and meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of store layout, merchandise, and inventory in order to identify and prevent theft or loss.
- Monitor and review CCTV footage to identify any discrepancies or suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with store management and other team members to implement loss prevention strategies and ensure the safety and security of the store.
- Observe and report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the apprehension and detention of suspected shoplifters, following proper procedures and protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or accidents, in a calm and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of incidents and investigations.
- Keep up-to-date with new security measures and technologies, and provide suggestions for their implementation.

Strong Customer Service Skills: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Exceptional Service To Customers In A Retail Environment.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: Experience In Loss Prevention Or Security Is Preferred, With A Solid Understanding Of Theft Prevention Techniques, Surveillance Methods, And Emergency Procedures.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Identifying Potential Theft And Fraudulent Activity, As Well As Maintaining Accurate Records And Documentation.
Team Player: A Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate Must Be Able To Work Effectively As Part Of A Team, Collaborating With Other Team Members And Store Management To Prevent Loss And Maintain A Safe And Secure Environment For Customers And Employees.
