1. Monitor and operate all security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, to ensure the safety and security of all TJX locations worldwide.
2. Respond promptly and appropriately to all emergency situations, including accidents, incidents, and natural disasters, by contacting the appropriate authorities and following established protocols.
3. Conduct regular checks of security equipment, such as cameras and alarms, to ensure they are functioning properly and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
4. Monitor and screen all incoming calls and messages to the Global Safety & Security Center, and provide timely and accurate responses or escalate to the appropriate team member as needed.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents and activities, including providing written reports to management as required.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of safety and security policies and procedures for all TJX locations, and ensure that they are consistently followed and updated as needed.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as Loss Prevention, Human Resources, and Facilities, to ensure the safety and security of all employees, customers, and assets.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and developments to continuously improve the safety and security measures of TJX Companies.
9. Train and educate employees on security protocols and procedures, and conduct drills and exercises to ensure their understanding and readiness in emergency situations.
10. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with employees, customers, and external parties, and act as a positive ambassador for TJX Companies at all times.
