2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and reporting.
3. Monitor and interpret new accounting standards and regulations, and ensure proper implementation and disclosure in financial statements.
4. Manage the day-to-day activities of the external reporting team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal audit, legal, and investor relations, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
6. Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements, footnotes, and other disclosures to identify and address any potential material misstatements or errors.
7. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
8. Prepare and present presentations to senior management and other stakeholders on financial results, significant accounting issues, and emerging trends.
