- Conduct margin analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of our margins, including sales, costs, and pricing, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop margin optimization strategies: Utilize insights from margin analysis to develop and implement strategic initiatives that will drive margin improvement and support overall business growth.
- Monitor and track performance: Continuously monitor and track the impact of margin optimization strategies on our business performance, and make necessary adjustments to ensure we are meeting our goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, pricing, and operations, to gather data, understand business needs, and align on margin optimization strategies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in order to increase overall margins.
- Prepare financial reports: Create and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for margin improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the retail market, and utilize this knowledge to inform margin optimization strategies.
- Manage budget and forecasts: Oversee the budget and forecast process for the Margin Analysis & Strategy team, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Mentor and train team members: Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them develop their skills and contribute to the team's success.
- Support company values: Uphold the TJX Companies' values and culture, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Analysis And Strategy, Preferably In A Retail Or Consumer Goods Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Margin Analysis And Pricing Strategies, Including Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Best Practices.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate Cross-Functionally With Other Departments And Stakeholders.
