1. Oversee and manage the backroom operations of TJX Companies' stores, including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sierra Trading Post.
2. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of merchandise in the backroom according to company standards.
3. Lead and motivate a team of backroom associates to achieve daily productivity goals.
4. Train new backroom associates on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
5. Monitor inventory levels and work with management to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor.
6. Maintain a clean and organized backroom to ensure the safety of associates and efficient movement of merchandise.
7. Communicate effectively with store management and other departments to ensure smooth and timely operations.
8. Monitor and analyze backroom productivity and make recommendations for improvements.
9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where all team members are treated with respect and professionalism.
10. Uphold the company's high standards of customer service, both in the backroom and on the sales floor.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
12. Identify and resolve any backroom operational issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backroom operations and implement them as needed.
14. Assist with performing backroom tasks as needed, including receiving and processing merchandise, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
15. Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to achieve overall store goals and objectives.
