  1. Process and review invoices from vendors and suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure proper coding and documentation.
  3. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  4. Communicate effectively with internal departments and vendors to resolve any payment issues or inquiries.
  5. Assist in month-end closing by preparing necessary journal entries and reports.
  6. Monitor and track expenses to ensure they are within budget and report any discrepancies to management.
  7. Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure proper authorization and documentation for all purchases.
  8. Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable and ensure compliance.
  9. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed.
  10. Act as a liaison between the company and vendors, maintaining positive and professional relationships.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management.
  12. Train and mentor new accounts payable staff as needed.
  13. Adhere to all company and industry ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  14. Proactively identify and report any potential issues or concerns to management.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable Or Related Field

  • Working Knowledge Of Accounting Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Data Entry And Processing

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work With Vendors And Internal Teams
