Job Description

Provide support to bank operations by opening and processing individual retirement accounts along with the disposition of decedent accounts. Prepare and analyze necessary documentation for account opening, ensure documents and forms are properly completed. Process account opening for individual retirement accounts and deceased disposition upon approval. Complete data entry of account applications through various systems. Verify client’s signature, identifying any discrepancy on forms using various systems. Participate in user acceptance testing and system deploys. Review and Process Individual Retirement Transactions. Decision questionable client signatures and/or discrepancy on forms. Follow up with applicants and/or external clients regarding missing information for clarification of instructions. Evaluate, analyze, and process IRA account transactions according to government regulations and company policies, keeping abreast of all regulatory changes to Individual Retirement Accounts.

Job Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in banking as a teller or branch manager

  • 6 months+ IRA working knowledge or experience

  • Individual Retirement Account and/or deceased processing experience preferred

  • Certified IRA Service Professional preferred
