They must also possess a strong understanding of textile production processes, as well as an appreciation for the art and craftsmanship of fabric production. The successful candidate must be a creative problem solver and have the ability to collaborate with other team members. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion and a desire to help create unique fabrics for the Thom Browne brand.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research, analyze data, and develop new textile fabrics for the Thom Browne brand.
2. Develop prototypes and test fabrics for quality assurance.
3. Monitor and track trends in textile production, design, and fashion.
4. Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative fabrics.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors to obtain and source fabrics.
6. Maintain records of all textile research and development.
7. Ensure that all textile fabrics conform to safety and quality standards.
8. Keep abreast of new technologies and innovations in textile production.
9. Attend textile and fashion industry events to stay current with trends and new developments.
10. Assist with the development of textile marketing materials.
