Responsibilities:

-Developing patterns for clothing designs

-Measuring and cutting fabrics to make patterns

-Analyzing and interpreting fashion designs to create patterns

-Creating accurate mock-ups of garments to review fit, style, and construction

-Ensuring all garments are constructed according to industry standards

-Collaborating with designers, production teams, and other departments to ensure accuracy and quality in all garments

-Maintaining an organized and efficient pattern-making workspace

-Utilizing technical pattern-making software, such as Adobe Illustrator, to create patterns

-Keeping up with current trends in fashion design and garment construction
