
Deputy Visual Enterprise Editor, National
This editor will work closely with reporters and editors in National to identify story targets while also serving as a key player in executing plans across the newsroom. The deputy editor will partner with the National visual enterprise editor in building a workflow to help execute the department’s visual-first priorities and will take the lead on mobilizing resources on quick-turnaround stories and in breaking news situations. In addition, the deputy will serve as a coach for editors across the department on how to help identify stories with the greatest potential for visual-first journalism and how to make the most of different platforms.
A strong background in visual reporting, with deep experience in video, photo, graphics or design
Someone with a talent for editing text for visual impact is preferred.
