Job Description

The Post’s licensing and syndication business counts the top news organizations around the world among its clients, as well as numerous companies beyond media that rely on first-class coverage of the world, the nation, politics and culture. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and by answering RFPs. Handle renewals for an existing book of business; perform needs analysis of current customers to create and pitch upsell opportunities. Draft proposals and agreements that meet legal compliance and standards and take ownership of the negotiation process from beginning to end. Effectively use Salesforce to enter all sales activity and opportunities, managing prospects through the sales cycle. Maintain positive business relationships and create new business relationships to ensure future sales.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous experience successfully driving revenue through prospecting, discovery, pitching, closing and renewing business

  • Able to understand and leverage data; proficiency with Salesforce
