  1. Perform tree trimming and pruning duties to maintain the health and beauty of the extensive tree population at Disney parks and resorts.

  3. Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure trees are trimmed in a visually appealing manner.
  4. Collaborate with fellow team members to develop and implement effective tree care strategies.

  7. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used in a safe manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Tree Care Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Tree Care Techniques, Including Pruning, Trimming, And Disease Management. This Knowledge Will Be Essential For Maintaining The Health And Appearance Of Trees On Disney Properties.

  • Experience In Climbing And Operating Equipment: As A Tree Trimmer/Arborist, The Candidate Will Be Required To Climb Trees And Operate Equipment Such As Chainsaws And Wood Chippers. Previous Experience And Training In These Areas Is Highly Desirable.

  • Certification In Arboriculture: A Valid Certification From A Reputable Arboriculture Organization, Such As The International Society Of Arboriculture (Isa), Will Be A Valuable Asset For The Candidate. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Tree Care.

  • Ability To Work Safely: The Safety Of Disney Guests And Employees Is Of Utmost Importance, And The Candidate Must Have A Strong Commitment To Safety. This Includes Following Proper Safety Procedures And Using Personal Protective Equipment While Performing Tree Trimming Tasks.

  • Physical Fitness: Tree Trimming And Arboriculture Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring The Candidate To Work At Heights And Perform Physically Strenuous Tasks For Extended Periods. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
