As the Technical Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical operations of our studio, ensuring that our productions run smoothly and efficiently.   1. Oversee all technical aspects of productions, including pre-production planning, on-set operations, and post-production processes.
  2. Collaborate with creative teams to understand their vision and provide technical solutions to bring it to life.
  3. Manage and maintain all technical equipment and systems, including cameras, lighting, sound, and editing software.
  4. Develop and implement technical workflows and protocols to streamline production processes.
  5. Train and supervise technical crew members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to effectively support productions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into production processes.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during productions.
  8. Work closely with other departments, such as post-production and visual effects, to ensure seamless integration of technical elements.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to source and acquire necessary equipment and services.
  10. Ensure compliance with all safety and industry regulations.
  11. Manage production budgets and expenses related to technical operations.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve technical processes and procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates and recommendations on technical operations.
  14. Represent the company and its technical capabilities to clients and stakeholders.
  15. Act as a mentor and leader for technical team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Engineering, Or Media Production.

  • Extensive Experience In Managing Technical Operations For A Large Studio Or Production Company.

  • Proficiency In Various Software And Hardware Systems Used In Film And Television Production, Such As Avid, Adobe Creative Suite, And High-End Cameras.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Technicians And Operators.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Studio Operations, Including Lighting, Sound, And Set Design.
