As the Social Media Manager, you will play a critical role in promoting our captivating TV shows and titles on social media platforms.   1. Develop and implement social media strategies to promote National Geographic's TV shows and titles on various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
  2. Create engaging and visually appealing content to attract and retain a global audience for National Geographic's TV shows and titles.
  3. Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative ideas for content and campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital media, and content creators, to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging and branding across all social media platforms.
  5. Analyze and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  6. Engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages, building relationships, and fostering a positive brand image.
  7. Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, tools, and platforms, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into our social media strategy.
  8. Manage social media budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve maximum results.
  9. Stay informed of industry and competitor activity, identify potential opportunities and risks, and make strategic recommendations to maintain and improve National Geographic's social media presence.
  10. Collaborate with influencers and industry partners to amplify our social media reach and engage with new audiences.
  11. Ensure all social media content and campaigns adhere to company values, guidelines, and legal requirements.
  12. Train and guide junior team members, providing support and feedback to promote their professional growth and development.
  13. Represent National Geographic on social media by maintaining a professional and positive online presence.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Social Media Management, Preferably In The Tv Or Entertainment Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Social Media Platforms And Analytics, Including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, And Youtube.

  • Excellent Communication And Writing Skills, With The Ability To Create Compelling Content And Engage With Audiences.

  • Passion For National Geographic's Brand And Content, With A Deep Understanding Of Its Target Audience And How To Effectively Reach And Engage Them Through Social Media.
