- Operate and maintain broadcast equipment, including cameras, microphones, switchers, and audio and video mixers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick and efficient solutions to ensure smooth broadcast operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure high-quality and visually appealing broadcasts.
- Stay updated on the latest broadcast technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or improvements.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for all broadcast equipment.
- Train and mentor junior broadcast technicians in operating and maintaining equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment installations and repairs.
- Monitor and maintain broadcast schedules, ensuring that all programming and commercials air on time.
- Conduct regular maintenance and testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of live broadcasts.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and technical standards.
- Continuously monitor and report on the quality of broadcasts, making necessary adjustments to improve overall production value.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and engineering, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support live broadcasts and events.
- Keep accurate records of equipment inventory and maintenance schedules.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and see them through to completion.
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to broadcasting.

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Technical Role Within The Broadcast Industry, With A Strong Understanding Of Broadcast Equipment And Systems.
Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Maintaining Broadcast Equipment, Including Cameras, Audio And Video Switchers, Graphics Systems, And Transmission Equipment.
Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Technicians, Providing Guidance And Support In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
Proven Experience In Managing And Executing Live Broadcasts, Including Knowledge Of Broadcast Standards And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Tight Deadlines While Maintaining A High Level Of Quality And Attention To Detail.
