- Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure timely completion of cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Analyze project plans, designs, and specifications to identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
- Conduct thorough research and gather data from multiple sources to support cost estimates.
- Create and maintain project cost tracking systems to monitor project budget and expenses.
- Review and validate cost estimates from other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Communicate cost estimates, budget updates, and any potential issues to project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide expertise on cost estimation and project controls.
- Continuously evaluate and improve cost estimation processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project controls and cost estimation.
- Represent The Walt Disney Company with professionalism and enthusiasm, reflecting the company's values and commitment to excellence.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Project Cost Estimation And Control, Preferably In The Entertainment Or Construction Industry.
Proficient In Industry-Specific Software And Tools Such As Primavera P6, Costx, And Microsoft Excel.
Strong Understanding Of Project Management Principles And Techniques, Including Scheduling, Budgeting, And Risk Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Experience Presenting Complex Cost Estimates To Stakeholders And Senior Management.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Construction Management, Or A Related Field. Professional Certifications Such As Certified Cost Professional (Ccp) Or Project Management Professional (Pmp) Are Preferred.
