- Conduct accurate and timely processing of employee paychecks.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve any payroll issues.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Monitor and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
- Coordinate with external vendors for payroll-related matters.
- Oversee payroll tax filings and payments.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
- Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Train and mentor junior payroll associates.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Extensive Experience In Payroll Processing: A Senior Payroll Associate At The Walt Disney Company Must Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Payroll Processing, With A Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Payroll Regulations.
Knowledge Of Payroll Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Using Payroll Software Such As Adp Or Workday, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Timekeeping Systems.
Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail, As The Senior Payroll Associate Will Be Responsible For Reviewing And Auditing Payroll Data To Ensure Accuracy And Compliance.
