We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Production Legal Affairs to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our production teams, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.   1. Provide legal support and guidance to production teams throughout the entire production process.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including contracts, permits, and intellectual property laws.
  3. Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to production, including talent agreements, location releases, and music licenses.
  4. Advise production teams on potential legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as business affairs and finance, to ensure legal and business objectives are aligned.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to production and provide guidance to production teams as needed.
  7. Manage and oversee outside legal counsel as necessary.
  8. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as needed.
  9. Communicate effectively with all levels of the company, including executives, producers, and other legal professionals.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
  11. Represent the company in legal matters related to production, including negotiations and dispute resolution.
  12. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as talent agencies and production partners.
  13. Provide training and education to production teams on legal matters and best practices.
  14. Monitor and track legal expenses and ensure they are within budget.
  15. Act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Production Legal Affairs, Preferably In The Entertainment Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Contract Law And Intellectual Property Rights

  • Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills

  • Proven Leadership And Management Experience, With The Ability To Oversee A Team And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
