- Conduct comprehensive and thorough audits of various business processes within The Walt Disney Company, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.
- Develop audit plans and programs to effectively assess risks and evaluate internal controls.
- Utilize a variety of auditing techniques to gather and analyze data, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement audit recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations to ensure audits are in compliance with relevant standards and laws.
- Prepare detailed and accurate audit reports, including findings and recommendations, and present them to senior management.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Conduct follow-up audits to assess the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and training to junior auditors.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of audit findings and ensure ethical standards are upheld throughout the audit process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the audit function.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external auditors, providing necessary information and supporting documentation.
- Stay informed on industry developments and technological advancements to continuously improve audit processes and procedures.
- Represent The Walt Disney Company in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally, and promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.
At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Auditing, Preferably In A Large Corporation Or Entertainment Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field. Cpa Or Cia Certification Preferred.
Extensive Knowledge Of Auditing Principles, Practices, And Procedures, As Well As Financial Reporting And Internal Controls.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify Risks And Develop Effective Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Senior Management.
