- Design and develop ride control systems for Disney rides and attractions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ride control systems into overall ride design.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of ride control systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in ride control technology to continuously improve our systems.
- Document all aspects of ride control systems, including design, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source necessary components and maintain relationships for ongoing support.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other team members and departments as needed.
- Develop and maintain maintenance and troubleshooting protocols for ride control systems.
- Communicate with park operations teams to ensure ride control systems are functioning properly and address any issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Disney brand and ensure ride control systems align with company values and standards.
Bachelor’s Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Developing Ride Control Systems For Theme Parks Or Other High-Tech Industries.
Strong Knowledge Of Programmable Logic Controllers (Plcs), Human-Machine Interface (Hmi) Systems, And Motion Control Systems.
Experience With Industry Standards And Regulations For Safety And Reliability In Ride Control Systems.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
