  1. Conduct thorough research to identify potential songs, composers, and musicians for upcoming projects.
  2. Stay up-to-date with current music trends and industry news to ensure we are sourcing the best talent.
  3. Collaborate with creative teams to understand their vision and provide music options that align with their project.
  4. Communicate with music publishers, record labels, and other industry professionals to negotiate rights and licensing agreements.
  5. Manage and organize a large database of music assets, including metadata and licensing information.
  6. Assist in the budgeting process for acquiring music rights and manage expenses within budget constraints.
  7. Coordinate and attend music showcases, concerts, and other events to discover new talent and build relationships within the music industry.
  8. Work closely with the legal team to ensure all music licensing agreements are accurate and in compliance with copyright laws.
  9. Provide support and guidance to other team members regarding music research and licensing.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the music research and acquisition process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in music technology to enhance the music selection process.
  12. Maintain strong relationships with music publishers, record labels, and other industry professionals to ensure a steady flow of quality music options.
  13. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our music selections and enhance our brand image.
  14. Attend screenings and provide feedback on music choices and placement within projects.
  15. Uphold the company's values and standards while representing the brand in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Musicology, Music Education, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Music Research Or A Related Field.

  • Proficient In Music Database And Research Tools Such As Nielsen Music And Billboard.
