
EMEA Manager - Information Governance

- Develop and implement information governance policies, procedures, and best practices for The Walt Disney Company in EMEA region.
- Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with senior leadership to ensure alignment of information governance strategy with overall business objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of information governance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of information management practices to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, IT, and business units, to create and execute a comprehensive information governance program.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to information governance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on information governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the information governance program, identifying and addressing any gaps or issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert on information governance matters, providing guidance and support to all levels of the organization.
- Represent The Walt Disney Company at conferences, workshops, and industry events to promote our information governance efforts and share best practices.
- Collaborate with global information governance teams to ensure consistency and alignment of policies and procedures across the organization.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources for the information governance program.
- Continuously evaluate and improve information governance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Act as a point of contact for information governance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to demonstrate the value and impact of the information governance program.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Emea Data Protection Regulations: The Emea Manager - Information Governance Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Data Privacy Laws And Regulations In The Region, Including Gdpr, Ccpa, And Other Local Laws.

Experience In Information Governance: The Emea Manager Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Information Governance, Data Privacy, Or A Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As The Emea Manager, The Candidate Will Need To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And External Partners, Requiring Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills.
