Responsibilities:

• Defend the Company against employment-related claims • Advise on a variety of matters related to employment law • Remain up-to-date on changes to California state and federal laws • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, other attorneys, and external counsel • Develop strategies to resolve legal issues in a timely and efficient manner • Provide written and oral legal advice to internal clients • Represent the Company in court, arbitration, or mediation • Prepare legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents • Manage a caseload and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines • Collaborate with attorneys and other members of the legal team on matters
