  1. Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures under the guidance of senior scientists.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental data and results.
  3. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  4. Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during experiments.
  5. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute research projects.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and senior scientists to provide updates and discuss results.
  7. Stay up-to-date with current research developments and techniques in the field.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  9. Assist in writing and revising research protocols and manuscripts.
  10. Train and supervise new laboratory personnel as needed.
  11. Contribute to the design and development of new experiments and protocols.
  12. Attend and present at team meetings and scientific conferences.
  13. Adhere to all ethical and regulatory guidelines in research.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to scientific integrity and accuracy in all work.
  15. Actively participate in the overall mission and goals of The Scripps Research Institute.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biochemistry.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Research Or Academic Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Scientific Principles And Techniques, Including Data Analysis And Experimental Design.

  • Proficient In Various Laboratory Techniques And Equipment, Including Pcr, Microscopy, And Cell Culture.

  • Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
