- Oversee and manage all aspects of the stockroom, including organizing and maintaining inventory levels.
- Lead and supervise a team of stockroom associates, providing direction, training, and support.
- Ensure all merchandise is received, processed, and stocked in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate with store management to create and implement stockroom procedures and processes.
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular stockroom audits to identify and address any inventory discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with store management to address any stockroom issues or concerns.
- Train and develop stockroom associates to ensure they are knowledgeable and proficient in stockroom operations.
- Monitor and track stock levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and meets customer demand.
- Assist with store merchandising and floor set changes as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers and drive sales.

Previous Supervisory Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Stockroom Supervisor At The North Face Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Warehouse Setting. This Experience Should Demonstrate Strong Leadership Skills, The Ability To Manage A Team, And A Track Record Of Successfully Meeting Targets And Deadlines.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management: The North Face Places A High Emphasis On Efficient And Accurate Inventory Management. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Control Systems, Experience In Cycle Counting And Inventory Reconciliation, And The Ability To Identify And Resolve Inventory Discrepancies.
Familiarity With Retail Operations: As The North Face Is A Retail Company, The Stockroom Supervisor Should Have A Good Understanding Of Retail Operations And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Merchandising, Customer Service Standards, And Experience With Point-Of-Sale Systems.
Organizational And Time-Management Skills: As A Stockroom Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Organization And Maintenance Of The Stockroom, As Well As Managing A Team To Ensure Tasks Are Completed In A Timely Manner. Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
