Job Description

The North Face is looking for a motivated, creative, and knowledgeable Sr. Merchandiser, Sporting Goods (Americas) to join our team. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of our Sporting Goods product line for the Americas region. As a respected leader, you will be the driving force behind the success of the product line, working with a cross-functional team to ensure we are delivering innovative, exciting, and profitable products.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product development, buying and merchandising. You should have a thorough understanding of the Sporting Goods business, specifically related to the Americas region. Additionally, you must have a proven track record of driving sales and profitability, as well as a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sustainability. An excellent communicator, you should be comfortable leading and engaging with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute product line for the Americas region.
  2. Drive sales and profitability of the product line.
  3. Lead and engage with key stakeholders.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs.
  5. Create and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  6. Develop and implement product strategies.
  7. Monitor product performance and ensure product quality.
  8. Manage pricing and inventory levels.
  9. Control costs and maximize profitability.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
