
Senior Manager, Materials Development
The North Face is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Materials Development to join our team and help create innovative and sustainable materials for our products. This position will require a creative and strategic thinker with outstanding leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Materials Development:
- Identify and develop innovative and sustainable materials for use in The North Face products.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines related to material development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, merchandisers, and suppliers, to ensure successful product launches.
- Research and analyze industry trends in order to stay ahead of the competition.
- Monitor the performance of materials to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Provide leadership and direction to junior staff members.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to management on materials development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
