  1. Develop and implement global merchandise strategies for The North Face apparel division.
  2. Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities for the brand.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of merchandise plans.
  4. Manage the product assortment, including assortment planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
  5. Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of merchandise.
  7. Monitor sales performance and make data-driven recommendations for product assortment and pricing.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve business objectives.
  9. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective product launches and promotions.
  10. Ensure compliance with brand standards and guidelines for all merchandise.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve merchandise processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to drive innovation and growth within the apparel division.
  13. Develop and manage budgets and financial targets for the merchandise department.
  14. Represent The North Face brand at industry events and trade shows.
  15. Uphold a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences to inform merchandise decisions.
  16. Communicate merchandise strategies and performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Retail Or Wholesale Merchandising, Preferably In The Apparel Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Global Market Trends And Ability To Identify And Capitalize On Opportunities

  • Experience In Managing A Team And Developing Merchandising Strategies To Drive Sales And Profitability

  • Excellent Analytical Skills And Proficiency In Data Analysis Tools To Inform Decision Making And Forecasting
