As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Merchandise Manager with product selection, inventory management, and assortment planning.   1. Assist the Merchandise Manager with product selection and assortment planning, ensuring that the brand's vision and direction are accurately represented.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns as needed.
  3. Conduct regular market and trend research to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and sales to ensure a cohesive and effective merchandising strategy.
  5. Analyze sales data and provide insights and recommendations to improve product performance.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product information, pricing, and availability.
  7. Work closely with the visual merchandising team to ensure that product displays are visually appealing and effectively communicate the brand's message.
  8. Assist with creating and maintaining seasonal product line plans and calendars.
  9. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  10. Help manage and track product samples, including organizing them for presentations and photo shoots.
  11. Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends to inform product selection and strategy.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure that all merchandising activities are in line with brand standards.
  13. Provide support to the Merchandise Manager in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
