Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our store and providing exceptional customer service. As a member of our Store Support team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while gaining valuable retail experience.   1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a positive and friendly first impression.
  2. Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations to meet their needs.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping aisles clear.
  4. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
  5. Support other team members by helping with tasks such as merchandise returns, online order pickups, and carrying out large items for customers.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Utilize product knowledge and store resources to assist customers with locating items and making informed purchasing decisions.
  8. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and secure store environment for customers and team members.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure efficient store operations and exceptional customer service.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance the store's operations.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador by representing The Home Depot's values and providing a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  12. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on products, services, and company policies.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  14. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
