Store Support

1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products or directing them to the appropriate departments.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
3. Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, arranging merchandise displays, and ensuring aisles are clear for customers to navigate.
4. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
5. Assist customers with loading and unloading large or heavy items and provide guidance on proper use of equipment such as carts and flatbeds.
6. Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or provide information as needed.
7. Collaborate with other store associates to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks and projects.
8. Proactively identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to store management.
9. Continuously expand product knowledge and stay updated on store promotions and sales to effectively assist customers.
10. Act as a brand ambassador for The Home Depot by embodying the company's values and promoting a positive and welcoming store environment.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety protocols, cash handling, and inventory management.
12. Assist with inventory management by conducting price checks, restocking items, and ensuring accurate product labeling.
13. Provide support to other departments as needed, including but not limited to cashiering, receiving, and merchandising.
14. Attend training sessions and meetings to further develop skills and knowledge related to the position.
15. Uphold a high level of professionalism and demonstrate a positive attitude towards customers, colleagues, and management.
