The Home Depot is looking for an experienced Software Engineer Principal - Java Architect who is passionate about developing innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing software solutions using Java and related technologies and be able to lead and guide a team of software engineers.The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven ability to provide solutions to complex software problems. The Software Engineer Principal - Java Architect will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering quality software solutions. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field• 8+ years of software development experience in Java and related technologies• 7+ years of experience leading software development teams• Proven ability to develop software solutions to complex problems• Excellent communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
