Responsibilities:

  1. Execute merchandising plans and strategies to ensure products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner.
  2. Conduct regular store walks to identify and fix any visual or stocking issues in a timely manner.
  3. Collaborate with store management to ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and replenished on the sales floor.
  4. Utilize planograms and store maps to effectively set up displays and maintain consistent merchandising standards.
  5. Ensure all pricing and signage is accurate and up to date.
  6. Communicate any product or inventory discrepancies to store management.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following company policies and procedures.
  8. Assist with inventory management and perform regular inventory counts as needed.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have.
  10. Help to train and mentor new team members on merchandising techniques and procedures.
  11. Keep up to date with current industry trends and make suggestions for new and innovative display ideas.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention guidelines.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications
  • Retail Experience: A Merchandising Execution Associate At The Home Depot Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In Merchandising Or Visual Merchandising.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising Principles: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Merchandising Principles, Including Product Placement, Planograms, And Inventory Management.

  • Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail, As Associates Will Be Responsible For Ensuring Products Are Accurately Priced, Labeled, And Displayed.

  • Physical Ability: As A Merchandising Execution Associate, Candidates Should Be Able To Perform Physical Tasks Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Items, Climbing Ladders, And Standing For Extended Periods Of Time.

  • Customer Service Skills: The Home Depot Places A Strong Emphasis On Customer Service, So Candidates Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Assist Customers With Their Needs.
