Job Description

Welcome to The Home Depot team! We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our store as a Lot Associate. As a Lot Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our parking lot and loading areas. This is a physically demanding position, but a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active and thrives in a fast-paced environment.   1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking lot and loading areas to ensure a positive and safe shopping experience for customers.
  2. Monitor the lot and promptly address any safety hazards or issues that may arise.
  3. Greet and assist customers with loading and unloading their purchases as needed.
  4. Keep track of shopping carts and retrieve them from the lot to ensure they are available for customer use.
  5. Assist with inventory management by organizing and restocking merchandise in the outdoor garden and seasonal sections.
  6. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport merchandise as needed.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with any other customer needs.
  8. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for both customers and employees.
  10. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time.
  11. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the store.
