- Greet and welcome customers to The Home Depot in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading their purchases into their vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized lot area, including cart corrals and loading zones.
- Monitor and control traffic flow in the lot to ensure safety for customers and employees.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Assist with store maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and collecting trash in the lot.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize merchandise in the lot.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Continuously strive to improve the customer experience and suggest ways to streamline processes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance and punctuality.
- Be knowledgeable about current promotions and products to assist customers with their purchasing decisions.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely, following all cash handling procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Lot Associate Must Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To All Customers. This Includes Greeting Customers, Answering Questions, And Assisting With Loading And Unloading Merchandise.
Physical Ability: This Role Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Stand And Walk For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Able To Perform Physical Tasks Such As Loading And Unloading Trucks, Organizing Merchandise, And Operating Equipment.
