1. Receive and unload freight shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery.
2. Inspect and verify incoming merchandise for quality and quantity.
3. Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
6. Assist in inventory counts and audits as needed.
7. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and according to company guidelines.
8. Communicate with vendors and other departments to resolve shipment discrepancies.
9. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
10. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating and retrieving merchandise.
11. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
12. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
13. Flexibility to work in different areas of the store as needed.
14. Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
15. Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic at all times, representing The Home Depot brand.
